Foki Beach

Foki beach is at a very short distance from Fiscardo, as it is accessible even by foot. The small creek that offers protection from winds and waves, in combination with fairly shallow waters, making it perfectly safe for swimming for the small children. The edge of the beach is covered with pebbles, while the bottom is mostly covered by seaweed.

Emplisi Beach

The most popular beach of Erissos is Emplisi. A bay with a closed shape, white pebbles and turquoise waters, lush green trees which reach to the sea. Although Emplisi is pebbly, its sea’s bottom is sandy and gives to the water a blue-green color, which reflects the nature around. Rocks with almost flat surface resemble to stone tablets that are at the sides and give you the ability to spread also there your towel and personal things and enjoy sunbathing.

Kimilia Beach

Kimilia beach is located on the northwestern tip of Kefalonia. It is pebbled, with turquoise waters, characteristic of the Ionian sea, while the surrounding green and beautiful nature, creates an impressive, unique landscape.

To reach Kimilia beach, you should leave your car in the village of Germenata and continue on the small path. The distance is just ten minutes through cypresses and olive trees, surrounded by lush vegetation and nature, and leads to the all-white pebbly Kimilia beach with its cool waters.

Myrtos Beach

During your stay in Kefalonia it will be nice to dedicate an entire day for Myrtos beach. Located in the region of Pylaros, in the north-west of Kefalonia island. Multi awarded, it stands at the top of the list of the best Greek beaches and ranks among the best worldwide.

Assos

It is one of the most picturesque villages of Kefalonia: traditional houses, unique peninsula, the Castle of Assos , will amaze you! Assos is very close to the beautiful beach of Myrtos. Its small port receives thousands of tourists during the summer season, but they are assimilated harmoniously by the landscape. Do not forget to go up to the Castle and admire the spectacular view!

Melissani Lake

The Lake Cavern of Melissani is a unique geological phenomenon located 2 km northwest of Sami. The lake is 20m below the surface. Stalactites with an age of 20.000 years and odd shapes adorn most of the cave. It’s unthinkable to visit the island and not do the boats trip into this spectacular geological wonder.

The tour starts from the uncovered part of the cave where the light falls on the water and creates the most beautiful turquoise shades and continues in the part of the cave which is covered.

Antisamos Beach

Antisamos distinguishes for its natural beauty that consists of turquoise waters and a marvelous surrounding of green hills and lush vegetation on top of it.

Has been awarded with the blue flag. It’s a beach with small pebbles, located a few kilometers from the port of Sami. The landscape combines all shades of blue and green, where the vegetation once again grows almost into the sea.

Xi Beach

One of the most famous beaches in Kefalonia characterized by its white rocky hills that surround the beach and the reddish brown sand. The shallow waters and the gentle waves create the ideal environment for the children.
